Welcome to our new sermon and vision series Higher! This year is our 5th year in ministry, our grace year and God has brought us through so much.
Year one God told us to “Build” so we launched our non-denominational ministry from scratch out of the living room of our pastor's home.
Year two God told us to “serve”, so we learned how to be a body that serves the kingdom purposes above our own, Kingdom over castle.
Year 3 God said “growth” so we pushed to holiness, sanctification and lifestyle changes, we had to be pruned and purified that year.
Year 4 God said “ Go Hard”. In this year we focused on 4 key areas and pushed ourselves to embrace the vision God had for Word’s Way, our goal was to become more humble, aware, resilient, and disciplined.
But now in year 5 God is planning to bless because of our obedience. Word’s Way, because we have obeyed God these last years, he will take us higher to new levels. We but only need to be found faithful and continue obeying the vision he has set for us. So for the duration of this series, let’s take a look at the many ways God took his chosen people higher.
